Give to the One America Appeal, a non-profit supported by all five living ex-presidents, to help victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
Do you remember the old Saturday Night Live cartoons about a superhero group called The Ex-Presidents? Well, the five living ex-Presidents–Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama–are sorta kinda doing that by joining forces for the One America Appeal, which is raising money to help people affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
The One America Appeal is a non-profit that’s being coordinated through the presidential library of George H. W. Bush. It was originally created to help victims of Harvey, but its scope has been extended to assist victims of Irma and Maria as well.
Donations will go to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and the Rebuild Texas Fund, as well as the Florida Disaster Fund. One hundred percent of the money donated will go to hurricane relief, and all donations are tax-deductible.
