Learn Ways to Vote Without Relying on the USPS, Just In Case

Learn ways to vote without relying on the United States Postal Service (USPS), just in case.

So. Trump is fucking with the USPS. Deliberately. In hopes of interfering with the speed and delivery of ballots mailed ahead of Election Day.

We need to support and defend the USPS from this unprecedented onslaught.

At the same time, we need to strategize to ensure we can safely deliver our ballots when and where they are needed to count in the fall presidential election taking place on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

In this instance, “safely” also means avoiding voting on Election Day because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lawyer Marc Elias created Democracy Docket, a progressive organization that advocates for voting rights and election-related issues. He specializes in defending voting rights. Recently, he published a piece on the Democracy Docket website that gives a good overview of your options for 2020.

Vote early, in person

Use a ballot drop box

Drop off your ballot at an election office or polling location

Organize community ballot collection
