Help Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff win their Georgia Senate Runoffs on January 5, 2021.
Every day now for more than a month we’ve been pointing you to the Help Georgia page.
You’re probably sick of seeing it. We’re pretty sure we’ve lost at least one follower because of the repetition.
But here’s the thing. The blog is called One Thing You Can Do. It’s meant to help you cut through the noise and focus on one thing you can do every day to push back against Trump and Trumpism.
And really, no kidding, between now and January 6, 2021, doing what you can, when you can, to help Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock win the twin runoffs for the Senate seats in Georgia is IT.
If you can only focus on one thing, that’s where it should be.
OK, we interrupted a few times, last month and this, to remind you about Affordable Care Act enrollment for 2021. Now that it’s closed in most states, we’re back to helping Georgia. Oh, and we took a break on Thanksgiving, but even then, we devoted the post to celebrating Stacey Abrams and her good work… which was help-Georgia-adjacent. (#sorrynotsorry)
Anyway. In the past, with multi-day actions, we reposted the same story each day. This time, we’re trying something different–posting the link to the original, and updating that instead:
We appreciate your relentless focus on this task. Please keep doing the work and keep recruiting others to join you.
