The New Year is almost here! We at One Thing You Can Do can almost taste it. And hoo boy are we ready to drop-kick the memory of 2020 into the sun. Into! The! Sun!
The 2020 hangover will continue a few days past New Year’s Eve, however.
We need to keep doing what we can to help elect Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the open Senate seats for Georgia on January 5, 2021.
Why? If Warnock and Ossoff win, the Senate numbers shake out at 50 Democrats, 50 Republicans.
That means Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell loses the gavel, and incoming Vice President Kamala Harris has a lot of extra work to do as the chamber’s tie-breaker.
This effort is absolutely, positively, 100 percent worth your time.
